KLC held its 46th social parting on Thursday on The theme “Dulcis Finis, Nova Initia” (Sweet
ending to a new Beginning).
Kohima Law College (KLC) held its 46th social parting on Thursday on the theme “Dulcis
Finis, Nova Initia” (Sweet ending to a new beginning).
An update from the college stated that the programme began with an invocation prayed
said by Ketho, assistant professor of the KLC, followed by a welcome address delivered
from the principal, Moasenla Longkumer.
In her speech, the principal highlighted the significant role in which students are expected
to take on after leaving the college, particularly in the field of law. She stressed the
importance of decision-making in life and used practical examples—such as ethical
dilemmas faced by drivers and doctors—to encourage moral reasoning and thoughtful
choices.
The event featured a performance titled “Always remember you” by 2nd semester
students, a duet by Rodikohli and Katimongla and a farewell speech by outgoing student
Mankhat N Konyak.
Atsali L Sangtam delivered a tribute on behalf of the juniors.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Kilangakum Longkumer and concluded with a
benediction said by Dinah, EU president.
